For this post, I want to talk about some tips for how to lose love handles. Now if you read my first post you’ll know that I spend a good deal of time trying to find out an easy way to get rid of love handles. I think I probably wasted about two years looking online for some miracle love handle treatment.
The result? A lot of wasted money and effort. Oh well, it was a learning experience. I’ve personally learned that there is no such thing to a shortcut. Any website or weight loss product that promises you a quick solution is a complete hoax. And trust me guys, I spent a lot of time chasing these weight loss scams and hoaxes.
Now, while it may be possible to lose way quickly (but only temporarily), if you want to get that ripped look you see guys on TV and magazines have, you are going to have to lose your fat. There is a difference between weight and fat. You can lose weight but not fat. This is the solution that most fast weight lose solutions deliver – if they deliver anything at all. If you lose weight but not fat, the “look” of your body won’t improve.
So to lose love handles, you are going to have to reduce your body fat – the layer of fat between your muscle and your skin. To do this, you need a solid strategy to do so. You can check out the guide I personal followed to achieve my results.
Here are some general tips I’ve found that are essential to losing love handles.
This is a pretty big one. In fact, if you don’t eat healthy, you won’t be able to lose your love handles at all. There is no way around it. Food these days are loaded with junk calories and saturated fats. With a single fast food meal, you are probably getting all the calories you need for the entire day (though the calories are nutritionally empty). It’s no wonder with 3 such meals that people are putting on weight.
To lose love handles, you are going to have to avoid junk food and processed food, and eat lean protein (chicken breasts, tuna, egg whites, etc) and lots of veggies and fruits. By eating healthy, you can consume less calories that are more nutritionally dense.
Yes, this is another big one that most people don’t want to hear. However, there is no way around it. If you want to lose love handles fast, you are going to have to do a lot of exercise. Now before you say you don’t have time, just stop. Everyone has time to do what they want to do. If you struggle, with motivation to workout, just get a team beachbody coach.
At a minimum you will have to hit the bike or start to run, or do something that elevates your heart rate for 30-45 minutes a day several times a week. Doing so will cause your body to burn off calories. This will put your body at a calorie deficit at the end of the day and cause your body to start using body fat for fuel. A few months of this will results in your love handles being reduce.
Use a Weight Loss/ Muscle Building Plan
Now, I did spend about a year and a half going to the gym and trying some diets to help lose body fat. However, I didn’t see much progress. This is because I wasn’t following an effective strategy for losing love handles and building muscle. If you just go to the gym and do a couple exercises and don’t follow a consistent meal plan with shakeology you won’t get results. You may see some initial results, but those results will taper off. You NEED a strategy and plan to get rid of body fat effectively. Not having one is asking to fail. As a person who has chased all the so called easy solutions, I’m going to tell you that you are going to no real easy solutions. You are going to have to put work in. However, if you are dedicated and you follow a consistent plan, you will see results.
